Who we are
WWF Adria is part of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, covering a few countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia. WWF Adria works on preservation and sustainable management of various ecosystems in forests, seas, oceans, freshwaters and protected areas in the Mediterranean region. Also, WWF Adria tries to raise awareness about importance of nature, biodiversity and different ecological processes in Mediterranean and Dinaric Arc regions.

We collect personal data such as your name, phone number, e-mail, IP address, etc. Every information connected to the identity of a person is considered as personal data. We collect that information only for specified and familiar activities such as memberships, campaigns, feedback, surveys and researches, newsletter subscriptions and similar activities. It is not obligatory for you to give us any information you do not intend or want to.
Furthermore, we collect impersonal data, which is the data that cannot give us information about your identity. It involves, for the example, pages you visit and files you download. That data enables us to determine how many people visit and use our page, which pages are the most and which are the least popular and visited. We do not know who you are, we use that information only to control and improve our service.
All of our use of personal data is in accordance with the law. The law requires us to only process data where we have a valid legal basis for doing so. Also, we aim to ensure we have appropriate physical, technical and managerial controls in place to protect your personal details. WSPay, being the processor of authorization and payment made by credit cards, uses personal data as the processor pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council no. 2016/679, and compliant with PCI DSS Level 1 Regulations for data transfers.
WSPay uses 256-bit SSL encryption and TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol as the highest protection standards for data entry and transfer.
Personal data used for the purposes of authorization and payment are deemed to be confidential data.
WSPay ensures to meet the requirements determined by applicable personal data protection regulations, for the processors of personal data, especially taking all necessary technical, organizational or security measures confirmed by PCI DSS Level 1 certificate.
All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The charged amount on your credit card account is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations.
We use Google Analytics. Users can turn it off in case of advertisements and adapt them according to their wishes.
Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for social media and messaging services like Facebook and LinkedIn, you might give us permission to access information from those accounts or services. However, WWF Adria does not collect data from social media and is not part of their analysis.
It is also possible that Facebook and LinkedIn use their own cookies, but if you want to find out more about their usage of your data, you have to read their privacy policies. WWF has no access to that information and does not provide them with any information.
